LEGAL BASIS AND PURPOSE OF PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA
Kidsy processes personal data for three main purposes:
(1) Service
The primary purpose of collecting personal data is to provide the website www.kidsy.co and Services, to issue accurate charges for the use of the Services and to manage the customer relationship. This concerns, for example, the data collected during the signing up for the Service, during the use of the Service and the technical data needed to run the Service in a secure manner and communications with Users.
(2) Marketing and other communications
Kidsy may occasionally send its Customers (and End-Users when the relevant personal data has been collected by Kidsy itself) email to inform about new features, solicit feedback, or provide information on what is going on with Kidsy and its products, as well as various items and promotions available on Kidsy. We base this on our legitimate interest to provide Users with relevant information as part of the Services and to promote our Services.
(3) Service development and research
We always work to make our Services better. Therefore, we may use the User's data to improve the Services. We base this processing on our legitimate interest to grow and develop. Kidsy may also collect technical data for statistical purposes to compile anonymous, aggregated statistics, such as about the most popular products being bought on the marketplace. Kidsy does not disclose personal data.
HOW INFORMATION IS COLLECTED?
We may collect your information in the following ways:
WHEN YOU PROVIDE US WITH INFORMATION TO MAKE A PURCHASE
If you use our Services to make a purchase, we may request certain Personal Information from you to facilitate the transaction. We may collect certain financial information from you, such as your payment card number and authentication details. We use a payment processor so that we do not need to maintain your credit card information other than in a tokenized form. Our payment processing partner stores and processes your credit card or other payment information using industry-standard security measures. By making a purchase through the Services, you give us consent to use and provide your financial information as we consider necessary to process the transaction.
COMMUNICATIONS YOU INITIATE WITH US
If you contact us in person, by phone, email, instant message, live chat, social media, or by some other means (either through our Services or through TPS), we may keep a record of your contact information and correspondence for later reference. When we send you emails, we may track whether you open them to figure out how to deliver more delightful and helpful emails and improve our Services.
THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
If you create your Kidsy account by connecting through a TPS, such as Amazon or Facebook, you are authorizing us to use public information from that connected account to help complete your Kidsy profile. We collect and store this information and use it to help you connect to our Site. Connecting your Kidsy account to a TPS is completely optional, and you will have the opportunity to grant permission when you attempt to connect. Please remember that the manner in which the TPS uses, stores, and discloses your information is governed solely by the policies of such service. We recommend that you review the terms and policies of that TPS, including its privacy and data gathering practices. Kidsy shall have no liability or responsibility for the privacy practices or other actions of any TPS or any other third-party site or service that may be enabled within the Service.

TPS may choose to include Kidsy widgets on their sites. When you load a site that has chosen to include our widgets, we receive analytics information through a cookie that may be used to enhance our data or to improve our Services. Kidsy does not have access to or control over these TPS technologies, and they are not covered by our Privacy Policy.
INFORMATION WE AUTOMATICALLY COLLECT
Like most websites, our Services may incorporate technology such as “pixel tags”, “web beacons” and “cookies” which allow us to track the actions of users of our Services. Pixel tags or web beacons are tracking devices on websites or in emails that can monitor the behavior of the user visiting the website or sending the email. Cookies are small files placed on your computer that recognize you when you return to Kidsy and that allow us to customize your user experience and improve the Kidsy service. You may modify the cookies that are accepted by your computer by changing your browser settings, although this may change the way the Kidsy website is presented to you. Other companies’ use of their cookies is subject to their own privacy policies, and we have no obligation to inform you of third-party cookies that are set.
As an example, Kidsy uses cookies to keep track of your shopping cart and for other personalized experiences. We also use tracking technology to create remarketing audiences of users based on visitor behavior on our Sites. In particular, Kidsy may use other TPS or services such as Google Analytics to monitor activity on the Site and to assist with advertising. To learn how Google Analytics collects and processes data, please visit: “How Google uses data when you use our partners’ sites or apps” located at www.google.com/policies/privacy/partners/.

We reserve the right to access, read, preserve, and disclose any information that we reasonably believe is necessary to accomplish the foregoing.
RETENTION OF PERSONAL DATA
We keep Personal Information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, while we have a business need to do so, or as required by law (e.g. for tax, legal, accounting, or other purposes), whichever is longer. When the User's personal data is no longer required by law or rights or obligations by us or the User, we will delete the personal data. In most cases, personal data will be deleted upon termination or expiry of the agreement between the Customer and Kidsy or upon the Customer’s written request. Please note that Kidsy may have a right to retain some data even after termination of the agreement for billing purposes. Exceptionally, Kidsy may retain personal data for a longer period if we have a legitimate reason or an obligation to store data for the purposes of criminal investigation or other corresponding reason.
